Where to Go for Breakfast in Oro Valley, Arizona
Finding a favorite breakfast spot is one of the pleasures of getting to know a community. Whether you’re an Oro Valley resident, exploring the area as a possible place to call home, or just want to explore new breakfast avenues, here are several options for your next morning out.
Our latest breakfast stop was First Watch—and it was superb.
First Watch: We Tried It and Loved It
10565 N. Oracle Road, Suite 103, Oro Valley
Patrick ordered the Trifecta with a waffle, eggs, and bacon. Lori chose oatmeal with fruit and a blueberry muffin alongside.
The oatmeal came with strawberries and banana, but because Lori is allergic to bananas, they substituted blueberries. We appreciated the gracious accommodation, and both of us thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts.
For us, First Watch earned a place on the return-visit list. If one person wants a traditional breakfast and the other prefers oatmeal and fruit, it’s an option worth considering.
The Views Restaurant: Breakfast with Catalina Mountain Scenery
1555 E. Rancho Vistoso Boulevard, Oro Valley
For a breakfast outing where the setting is part of the appeal, consider The Views Restaurant in Sun City Oro Valley. It serves breakfast daily, is open to the public, and offers indoor and outdoor seating with Catalina Mountain views.
This is one to keep in mind when friends or family come to visit—or when you simply want to enjoy the scenery close to home.
Jerry Bob’s: A Classic Breakfast Stop
10550 N. La Cañada Drive, Suite 140, Oro Valley
Jerry Bob’s Family Restaurant offers breakfast and lunch in a casual setting. For those who enjoy a familiar diner-style breakfast, it belongs on the list of local places to explore.
Sometimes the morning calls for a straightforward breakfast, a cup of coffee, and time to catch up across the table.
Denny’s: Familiar Favorites and Breakfast Anytime
11107 N. Oracle Road, Oro Valley
A breakfast list doesn’t have to consist entirely of specialty brunch restaurants. Denny’s deserves a mention for its familiar menu and breakfast-anytime options, including its signature Slams and breakfast skillets.
It’s a practical choice when everyone wants something recognizable—or when breakfast sounds good well beyond the morning hours.
Nearby Bonus: Snooze, an A.M. Eatery
7315 N. Oracle Road, Suite 161, Tucson
Just south of Oro Valley, Snooze’s Tucson Foothills location offers a lively breakfast and brunch setting. Its menu includes pancake flights, eggs Benedict, breakfast hashes, and traditional favorites.
We’re including this as a nearby option for those who enjoy a more inventive brunch menu.
What’s Your Favorite Oro Valley Breakfast Spot?
First Watch has our personal vote after a wonderful breakfast. The other restaurants give us—and perhaps you—a few more mornings to plan.
Where should we go next? Tell us your favorite breakfast spot and what you recommend ordering.
And if you’re thinking about making Oro Valley home, we’d love to help you explore its neighborhoods and everyday conveniences. Getting to know a community includes finding the places you’ll enjoy returning to.
